Job Title: Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in Surprise,Arizona
Job Description:
We are looking for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team in Scottsdale, AZ. As a COTA, you will be responsible for helping patients regain their ability to perform daily living and work activities under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist. This is a contract position with a competition. The position requires working days, with 8-hour shifts and weekends included.
Responsibilities:
Work with Occupational Therapists to implement treatment plans for patients
Assist with evaluations and assessments to identify patient needs and limitations
Administer interventions and treatments to improve patient outcomes
Teach patients and their families on how to perform daily living activities
Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
Requirements:
Active state license as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility is preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Basic computer skills for documentation purposes
