Under the general direction and supervision of the Assistant Director of Adult Education, the Adjunct Instructor will teach essential reading and math skills in the context of a 16-week Integrated Education & Training (IET) workforce training course (i.e., CNA, Medication Aide, Manufacturing). The instructor will support students before the term begins with program readiness and during classes with job application support.
The position will require the instructor to act as classroom support in the workforce training class and teach essential reading and math skills to support the area of workforce training. The schedule may be adjusted periodically to align with institutional requirements.
Weekly hours will be approximately 16-24 hours per week. This is a part-time temporary position and is part of a pooled adjunct faculty posting for the 2026–2027 academic year. Paid assessment and Adult Education training is available and required.
