Under supervision, this position works on the diverse range of activities involved in golf course maintenance and construction, does semi-skilled grounds construction and maintenance works and performs related tasks as required, All work is typically performed outdoors.
* Operate equipment in mowing of golf course puttimg greens , aprons, tees, fairways and rough
* Operate edgers, trimmers and blowers.
- grade and prepare soil/plant beds, lay sod, plant vegetative material and pull weeds in beds.
-* Change cups and tee markers
* Maintain ball washers, water hezards and bunkers
* Operate light equipment in hauling materials and removing debris
* Trimming trees / pruning shrubbery
Experience Requirements:
* Previous golf maintenance or landscaping experience preferred (not required)
* Be able to understand wtitten and oral instruction
* Ability to be attentive to surroundings while working
* Capability to work at least every other weekend and holidays
