Minuteman Press, the world's largest and top-rated digital print, marketing, and design organization is seeking a candidate for a Graphic Designer & Digital Print Operator in their Greensburg, PA location. We are looking for someone with an interest in the print industry and a desire to learn new technology.
Our successful candidate will:
- Be able to work independently and be able to multi-task/handle several jobs simultaneously.
- Have experience with Firery Command WorkStation - experience preferred or have computer workstation capabilities to learn new systems.
- Have experience with print shop finishing equipment; cutting, folding, padding, insertion etc.
- Experience in a print or copy shop is preferred. Willing to train a candidate with manufacturing experience, operating multiple machines, and understanding job flow from beginning to end product.
FedEx Office, Staples Print/Copy Center, OfficeMax, or UPS store experience is beneficial.
Duties for this role include but are not limited to:
- Managing projects that involve a wide range of high-quality printing.
- Working within deadlines to achieve customers' timing.
- Reviewing job specifications from work orders and ensuring that client files are accurate to produce jobs.
- Responsible for the use of digital copies/presses to setup and produce customer jobs.
- Operating both copies/printers and finishing equipment (cutters, folders, etc).
- Maintaining a neat and orderly work area.
- Other print shop-related duties as necessary.
This position is full-time Monday through Friday. No nights, Weekends or Holidays.
Compensation is commensurate with the selected candidate's experience.
