Inside Sales & Customer Success Representative
Position Summary
The Inside Sales & Customer Success Representative is responsible for developing new business opportunities, strengthening relationships with existing customers, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting marketing initiatives. This role helps drive company growth by identifying new markets, maintaining customer relationships, coordinating communications, and supporting the sales process from prospecting through order fulfillment.
Primary Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
Research and identify prospective customers using online resources, industry directories, LinkedIn, and trade publications.
Contact prospective customers by phone and email to introduce Deco-Chem products and services.
Follow up on quotations, samples, and sales opportunities.
Maintain regular communication with existing customers to identify new projects and cross-selling opportunities.
Update and maintain accurate customer information in the CRM system (ACT/Riata or equivalent).
Generate approximately 40–60 outbound customer contacts per day (as most of the time calls go to VM).
Customer Service
Respond promptly to customer product and application questions.
Coordinate technical inquiries with laboratory and production personnel.
Track customer requests and complaints through resolution.
Monitor customer ordering patterns and proactively contact customers before inventory shortages occur.
Attend laboratory meetings to stay informed of new products and projects.
Order Processing
Enter customer orders accurately into the ERP/order entry system.
Provide order confirmations, shipping dates, and delivery updates.
Coordinate with production and shipping to ensure timely deliveries.
Marketing Support
Assist with website updates and product literature.
Support email marketing, social media, and trade show materials.
Help maintain product information and marketing content.
Qualifications
Education
High school diploma
Associate or bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
Experience
Prefer 1–3 years of inside sales, customer service, or business development experience preferred.
Manufacturing or industrial product experience is a plus.
Experience using CRM and Microsoft Office preferred.

Office environment with occasional visits to production areas where appropriate personal protective equipment may be required.
