Drone Institute has unlocked condition intelligence for the built world at scale. For property management, we deploy our nationwide pilot network to capture hundreds of properties in weeks and deliver reports on roofs, facades, pavement, and interior condition. Our buyers use that data to understand portfolio condition objectively, and to allocate capital based on what they see — not only on what their tenants report.
We are hiring a Property Management Sales Representative to bring that capability to portfolio decision-makers across the country.
What you'll do:
- Build and work a pipeline of property management owners, operators, and asset-services teams.
- Lead discovery conversations that surface where condition visibility is missing and where capital is being misallocated.
- Run live product walkthroughs that show how our deliverables — orthophotos, 3D building models, and per-asset condition reports — change how decisions get made.
- Scope, propose, and close engagements ranging from pilot portfolios to multi-region recurring programs.
- Manage the customer relationship through onboarding, first delivery, and renewal. Expansion of aclosed account is part of the role.
- Keep a clean, current pipeline in our CRM. Forecast accurately.
What we expect:
- A self-directed seller who generates pipeline without being handed one.
- Steady weekly cadence: outbound activity, qualified conversations, demos delivered, proposals shipped.
- Clean handoff between sales and delivery so our pilots and analysts can do their work without rework.
- An honest read of every deal — yours or anyone else's — and willingness to say what isn't working.
- Coachability. We ship product weekly and the sales motion evolves with it.
What you bring:
- Several years of B2B sales experience with a quota-carrying track record.
- Working knowledge of the property management industry — how owners and operators think about CapEx, OpEx, and portfolio risk.
- Comfort selling into multi-stakeholder buying groups: operations, asset services, risk, and finance.
- Strong written and verbal communication. You can hold the room with a CFO and a facilities director in the same call.
- CRM discipline.
- Helpful but not required: prior experience in property management software, aerial services, building inspection, or insurance.
What you'll get:
- Competitive base salary plus uncapped commission.
- Meaningful equity participation for early sales hires.
- Direct access to the founders and the product team. Your customer feedback shapes the roadmap.
- A clear path from individual contributor to building a team if you are equipped to lead.
