This role serves as an electrical bridge engineer between the design team in Japan and the manufacturing plant in North America. The position is responsible for supporting mass production, handling issues, and managing design changes.
This is NOT a hands-on design role; instead, it focuses on coordination, communication, and problem-solving while leveraging basic electrical and electronics knowledge.
1. Bridge Function (Japan Design Team & North America Plant)

Collect and organize issues and challenges occurring at the plant

Communicate technical inquiries and request analysis from the design team in Japan

Understand analysis results and corrective actions, and provide feedback to the plant

Explain and report to customers as needed
2. Design Change & BOM Management

Organize and communicate design changes to the plant

Register and manage updates in the BOM system
3. Mass Production Support & Problem Solving

Collaborate with plant and design teams to resolve production issues

Propose improvements considering quality, cost, and delivery

Identify alternative parts in case of supply shortages

Analyze root causes and implement preventive measures

Bilingual in English and Japanese

Previous practical experience in electrical/electronic fields required

Understanding of BOM systems and mass production processes

Knowledge of communication protocols (CAN, Ethernet, USB, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc.)

Experience in the automotive industry
