About Us
Northside Music Academy, nestled in the peaceful and scenic Edgebrook neighborhood of Chicago, is seeking a passionate and dedicated Guitar instructor to join our outstanding team of music educators. This position will take over an established Saturday morning/afternoon guitar studio starting at the beginning of July.
We are a fast-growing music academy committed to delivering a high quality music education to each of our students, no matter their experience level! Working with many talented, friendly colleagues and a great group of families and students each day, NMA is a wonderful and welcoming place to be.

Qualifications
- Degree in Music Performance or Music Education (Bachelor’s or higher preferred)
- Background in classical guitar and other genres preferred.
- A genuine love of and passion for teaching and for working with kids & families
- Dedication to high quality music instruction while still keeping things fun and engaging
- Ability to teach beginner to advanced levels
- Punctual, reliable, and professional
- Experience preparing students for ABRSM, RCM, or MTNA exams is a plus
- Reliable transportation (we're near public transit/Metra)
