Responsibilities
- Supervise daily café operations, ensuring smooth service flow and adherence to food safety standards
- Lead, motivate, and train baristas to deliver outstanding customer service and product quality
- Manage POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate sales processing and cash handling
- Oversee food preparation, serving, and food handling procedures to meet health regulations
- Monitor inventory levels, place orders, and ensure proper stock rotation for coffee beans, supplies, and food items
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and create a welcoming atmosphere for all guests
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food prep stations and POS terminals
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a barista with strong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and café operations
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a food service or retail environment
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for sales transactions and cash handling
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse clientele
- Knowledge of food safety standards, food preparation, and proper food handling procedures
- Basic math skills for cash register operations, retail math calculations, and inventory management
- Ability to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
