Marketing Assistant for luxury PR & Advertising Agency.
We are seeking a highly organized and creative Marketing Assistant to support our team at a luxury-focused PR and advertising agency. This role offers the opportunity to work across public relations, social media, and media planning for premium lifestyle and luxury brands. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and interested in gaining hands-on experience in public relations, digital marketing, and strategic communications. The position is part time with flexible hours primarily remote with some monthly office hours.
<Responsibilities>
- Assist with PR initiatives, including drafting, editing, and distributing press materials such as press releases and media alerts.
- Write and schedule social media content for agency clients across multiple platforms.
- Support the development of comprehensive media plans, including strategy research, competitive analysis, and presentation preparation.
- Monitor media coverage and prepare monthly reporting for PR clients.
- Create media campaign recap reports and performance summaries.
- Assist with day-to-day marketing and administrative activities across client accounts.
- Support website content development, including drafting copy and updating website pages.
- Draft and distribute PR pitches to media outlets and journalists.
- Maintain and update media and press contact lists.
- Conduct research to support client strategies, campaigns, and industry insights.
<Experience>
- Previous experience or internship in public relations, digital marketing, content marketing, or social media marketing is preferred but not required.
- Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to gather insights that support strategic decision-making.
- Excellent writing and copyediting skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Creative thinker with an interest in storytelling, brand building, and media relations.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. Familiarity with platforms such as Mailchimp and social media scheduling tools is a plus.
- Interest in luxury, fashion, jewelry, lifestyle, is a plus
- Candidates can still be studying in college or recent graduates.
Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24.0 – 30.0 per week
