Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Electrical Service Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of electrical systems across various residential & som commercial facilities. Your expertise will ensure that electrical infrastructure operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all relevant codes and standards. Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems including high-voltage wiring, low-voltage controls, and industrial electrical components.
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute projects.
- Conduct electrical diagnostics using tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters to identify faults and determine solutions.
- Ensure all work complies with NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), NEC standards, local electrical codes, and electrical safety procedures.
- Perform high-voltage electrical wiring tasks safely on construction sites or renovation projects while adhering to strict safety protocols.
- Use hand tools and power tools efficiently for installation, maintenance, and repair tasks.
- Collaborate with project teams to complete installations on time while maintaining quality standards and safety compliance.
Skills
- Proven industrial electrician experience with a strong understanding of electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting techniques.
- Eelectrician experience with knowledge of low-voltage control systems.
- Familiarity with NFPA 70 (National Fire Protection Association standards) and NEC regulations for safe electrical practices.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams accurately; experience with blueprint reading is essential.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic equipment effectively.
- Knowledge of local electrical codes combined with construction site experience for seamless project execution.
- Strong understanding of electrical safety procedures to prevent hazards during installation or maintenance work.
- Experience working on renovation projects or new construction sites within the residential or commercial sectors.
- Capable of framing carpentry or handyman tasks that support electrical installations or repairs when needed.
