The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for helping with all on-site maintenance operations and apartment repairs. Much of this includes ensuring that the apartments, common areas and grounds are properly maintained and make-ready operations are timely.
Responsible for accurate completion of work orders and supporting the on-going preventative maintenance program.
Communication, Teamwork, Flexibility and Positive Attitude is a MUST.
The Maintenance Supervisor also works with the property manager and the remaining on-site staff to ensure that all activities are conducted in compliance with all local, state and federal employment, housing, safety, landlord/tenant, OSHA and real estate laws.
Background and Experience Requirements:
A minimum of two (2) years experience as a Maintenance Supervisor in the apartment or hotel industry preferred. Must speak English and be willing to take overnight or weekend emergency calls based on schedule rotation.
Degrees or Certificates Required:
High School Diploma (or equivalent) is required. Must be able to read, write and communicate English fluently. Must maintain current vehicle liability insurance and a current valid driver's license issued by the state in which you reside with your current address. The Company assumes no liability for any damages to an employee's vehicle while used for company business.
Other Requirements:
Diagnostic skills and be able to perform maintenance repair work on the following:
Appliances
Minor Electrical Systems
Minor Plumbing Systems (including water lines)
Minor Carpentry
Painting/Wallpapering/Sheetrock
Minor Roofing
Pest Control (as required)
HVAC
