Responsible for performing daily hotel revenue audits, cash summaries, journal entries and related revenue reports for management.

Ensure daily hotel transactions (charges and payments) are accounted for and documented in a timely and efficient manner.

Ensure accuracy in guest statements prior to mailing.

Ensure assigned AR audits are completed in a timely and efficient manner.

Monitor hotel master accounts for accuracy and document that payments are received timely.

Work with sales on convention billing and the accuracy of charges being billed on group master accounts.

Maintain and complete the city ledger account; ensuring receivables are accurately processed.

Maintain and complete the guest ledger account; ensuring receivables are accurately processed.

Contact guests regarding overdue accounts, identify partial payments and prepare adjustments as required.

Monitor OTA accounts to make sure payments are being received timely.

Review and dispute, if necessary, any hotel related chargebacks.

Ensure daily audited revenue numbers correspond to system generated AR reports.

Report discrepancies from the internal control standard to the Property Controller or others as required.

Identify and report discrepancies in the reconciliation process.

Prepare daily and monthly journal entries.

File daily paperwork in a timely and efficient manner.

Maintain confidentiality.

Address guest complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner.

Establish and maintain effective channels of communication with all levels of the Nugget team and guests.

Knowledgeable of and consistently follow Nugget policies and procedures as well as appropriate local, state, and federal regulations.

Perform work in a safe manner and always maintain a safe environment for fellow team members and guests alike.

Immediately report unsafe conditions, team member or guest incidents to Security, Management, and the Safety Manager.

Maintain a positive and professional image for the Nugget when performing duties or representing the Nugget and encourages others to do the same.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS: Hotel Front Desk Manager
Minimum 21 years of age.
High School diploma or equivalent is required.
Effectively communicate with others both verbally and in written form using the English language.
Minimum 1 year in a casino or hotel A/R position preferred, or similar position.
Employee Gaming registration required.
Ability to walk, stand, or sit for extended periods of time. Ability to lift, and move product up to 50 lbs.
Fine finger manipulation.
Work environment may include smoke and variable temperature, lighting, and noise levels. Work may be performed indoors and outdoors during special events.
