Arts District Kitchen (ADK) is the sister restaurant to 595 Craft and Kitchen. We are a fast-casual kitchen concept inside Able Baker Brewing Company in the heart of the Arts District, the blossoming urban culture in the Las Vegas valley. Like our original location, we are founded on the principle that a company’s success is dependent on the well-being of its employees and its community.
Our craveworthy menu features American pub classics along with a variety of popular Asian and Mexican-inspired flavors to pair with Able Baker's award winning craft beers. Successful candidates will possess the following skills:
- Ability to safety operate commercial kitchen equipment
- Experience with preparing dishes from scratch
- Strong foundation of basic cooking techniques
- Ability to learn, translate, and execute recipes to specifications consistently
- Strong eye for detail and unwavering high standards for cleanliness
- Experience with burgers, sandwiches, fries, and rice-based menus
- Possess proficient knife skills
- Passion for delivering appetizing food presentation
- Ability to prioritize and work efficiently while juggling multiple tasks
- Ability to access all areas of the facility without restrictions
- Ability to take constructive feedback and continuously strive for improvement
- Desire to develop professionally within the company for the long term
- Show up to work with a great attitude and be able to contribute to a positive work environment
- Possess strong work ethic and be reliable
Responsibilities:
- Execute menu items to specification set forth by management
- Work multiple cooking stations including deep fryers, flat top griddle, salamander, oven, and salad tables
- Stocking work stations as necessary
- Practice proper food handling procedures in compliance with SNHD guidelines
- Work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
- Maintain a clean working environment and perform routine detailed cleaning as required by management
- Perform closing duties including cleaning cooking equipment, filtering fryers, cleaning and sanitizing food prep surfaces, consolidating and wrapping product, and following closing checklists
- Assist with support tasks such as bulk food prepping, washing dishes, organizing supply shelves, rotating food product, or ensuring food labels are updated
- Assisting with FOH duties such as bussing tables, checking restrooms for safety and sanitation, or taking out trash if requested by management
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years working in restaurant with similar menu
- Must possess valid health card
- Must be 18 years or older
- Proof of eligibility of employment

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
