What This Role Is All About
As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing menu items according to the Club’s standard recipes while maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient workstation. You’ll work closely with the Sous Chef and the rest of the culinary team to ensure food is prepared consistently, safely, and delivered with excellent timing and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, sauces, and other menu items according to standard recipes
- Follow the daily prep list and ensure all items needed for service are ready
- Coordinate and time orders with the rest of the kitchen team
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation
- Ensure all food safety and sanitation standards are followed
- Take inventory of ingredients and notify the Sous Chef of shortages
- Properly store and label reusable food products
- Assist with opening and closing kitchen procedures
- Maintain kitchen equipment and report maintenance needs
- Attend kitchen staff meetings and contribute ideas for improvement
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or GED
- Culinary school training preferred
- At least two years of kitchen preparation and cooking experience
- Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume kitchen
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Food safety certification preferred
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Frequent bending, lifting, reaching, and repetitive motions
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Comfortable working in a hot, humid, and fast-paced kitchen environment
