PRIMARY PURPOSE OF JOB
Responsible for delivering an industry leading customer experience when patients shop at Grass Roots Cannabis Dispensary. They will accomplish this goal by providing a high level of customer service, carefully assessing patients’ needs, recommending products based on their extensive cannabis and product knowledge, and transacting sales in an efficient and compliant manner. As the Inventory Manager, they are responsible for the receipt of inventory, the accurate inputting and tracking of inventory, and the coordination of inventory movement.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND PERFORMANCE AREAS
- Contribute to a high-quality culture focused on customer experience, compliance, mutual respect, cooperatively working as a team, and most importantly having fun.
- Ensure an industry leading patient/customer experience when interacting with patients.
- Consistently implement SOPs to ensure compliant operations at all times.
- Maintain a high level of cannabis and product knowledge by utilizing available training tools.
- Provide appropriate and thoughtful product recommendations to patients.
- Solicit feedback from patients on desired products and services.
- Follow inventory and cash management protocols to prevent losses.
- Maintain a positive brand image in local market and beyond.
- Maintain a clean and organized store and work environment.
- Immediately inform Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager, law enforcement or OMC, when there is an incident of theft, workplace harassment issue, or a security incident.
- Receive and check-in inventory with accuracy.
- Input inventory into the POS system with accuracy.
- Partner with managers to ensure the proper flow of product.
- Audit store inventory and compare to METRC and POS system.
- Accurately adjust and waste inventory as allowable through METRC and POS system.
- Stay current with Kentucky OMC cannabis laws and regulations related to inventory.
- Maintain and observe product waste protocols.
- Understand and maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience in high-paced or specialty retail preferred.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.

Pay: $35,000.00 - $42,000.00 per year
