Shop/Field Welder-Fabricator
United Weld Services, a growing structural steel and miscellaneous metals fabrication and installation company is seeking experienced Welders in the York PA area. The duties of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Fabricate, layout assemble and weld according to shop drawings and specifications.
- Preference to candidates with experience of at least 3 years in the Miscellaneous Metals field
- Knowledge of Stick, Mig & Tig welding
- Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions.
- Knowledge of tools and equipment that will be utilized. (Ironworker, saw, plasma table, hand tools)
- Flexible work schedule and travel.
Successful candidates will have:
- Have solid welding experience/training.
- Pass a weld test (mig and stick) and fabrication test.
- Know how to read and fabricate from shop drawings.
- Pass a drug screen and background check.
- Willingness to travel locally within 2 hours of York PA
- Have a positive attitude with dependable self-driven work ethic.
This is an hourly position with minimal overnight travel.
