Job Overview
We are a small, family-owned flower shop in Bonita Springs looking for a creative, dependable person to join our team as a seasonal Floral Designer.
Previous floral design experience is preferred but not required. We are willing to train someone with a creative eye, strong attention to detail, and a willingness to learn. Because we are a small, hands-on team, this position includes floral design, customer service, deliveries, flower preparation, cleaning, and other daily shop responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Create floral arrangements for daily orders, events, weddings, and special occasions
- Take customer orders in person and over the phone
- Operate the register and provide excellent customer service
- Cut, process, and care for fresh flowers
- Clean buckets, coolers, work areas, and other shop spaces
- Organize flowers, supplies, and inventory
- Make local flower deliveries, primarily during the summer
- Assist with other shop responsibilities as needed
Qualifications
- Creative eye and attention to detail
- Willingness to learn and follow the owner’s design direction
- Dependable, flexible, and team-oriented
- Friendly and professional with customers
- Floral design experience preferred, but not required
- Valid driver’s license and safe driving record
- Ability to stand for extended periods and carry flower buckets, arrangements, and supplies
- Availability during some weekends, holidays, and peak floral periods
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
