Support students in an educational setting by providing speech and language therapy, conducting screenings, and collaborating on IEP development. Help improve communication skills that impact academic success, social development, and overall participation in school.
Conduct speech/language screenings and comprehensive evaluations
Develop and implement IEP goals and service plans aligned with educational needs
Provide individual and/or group therapy services
Document services, progress notes, and required compliance paperwork in a timely manner
Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with special education teams, teachers, school administration, and families/guardians
Support AAC needs as applicable, including devices, communication strategies, and staff education
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Active Indiana SLP license or ability to obtain licensure prior to start
Ability to pass background checks and meet school compliance requirements
School-based experience preferred (IEPs, educational documentation)
ASHA CCC-SLP preferred (or Clinical Fellow considered, depending on school requirements)
