Overview
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter/Framer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry/Framing techniques and a passion for delivering high-quality craftsmanship. This role involves working on diverse projects, including residential construction, renovations, and repairs. The Carpenter will be responsible for executing tasks with precision and attention to detail while ensuring safety standards are met.
Duties
- Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard.
- Perform framing carpentry for walls, roofs, and floors.
- Install cabinets, countertops, and other fixtures with accuracy.
- Execute flooring installation with a focus on quality and durability.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks.
- Conduct construction estimating to assess project requirements and materials needed.
- Engage in water damage restoration efforts as required.
- Apply caulking to seal joints and gaps for improved insulation and aesthetics.
- Collaborate with electricians for integrated installations when necessary.
- Operate CNC machinery for precise cuts and designs as needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Carpenter in residential or commercial settings.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Knowledge of construction estimating practices is preferred.
- Experience in water damage restoration is a plus.
- Familiarity with caulking techniques for sealing joints.
- Strong skills in frame carpentry, cabinet installation, and flooring installation.
- Reliable transportation

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.75 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
