Experience and Knowledge:
● Passion and calling for educating children
● Christ-like servant attitude
● Minimum two years of experience working with children
● High School Diploma
● CPR certified or willing to obtain CPR certification upon hire
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
● Assist classroom teachers as needed
● Help with small groups, recess, and lunch duties
● Clean the classroom and bathroom at the end of each day
● Encouraging social-emotional development through opportunities that build self-esteem and social interactions, and assisting students to resolve conflicts with others
● Complete and file any necessary reports by the end of each shift
● Instilling a sense of order and discipline in the classroom through biblical characteristics
● Communicating with classroom teachers
● Keeping a professional attitude with parents, peers, and supervisors
● Ability to be a team player when it comes to every student, event hosted by RCA, or task requested
● Contribute to the continuous improvement of the school’s overall educational environment through active participation in committees or task forces
