Part-Time Yard Maintenance & General Labor Assistant (Approx. 6+ Hours Per Week)
Looking for extra income, side work, or a flexible part-time opportunity? We are seeking a reliable, hardworking individual to assist with yard maintenance, property upkeep, and general labor tasks at residential and commercial properties.
This position averages approximately 6 hours per week, with the potential for additional hours based on workload, seasonal needs, and the applicant's skills and experience. Candidates with landscaping, maintenance, handyman, or construction experience are highly encouraged to apply.
Primary Responsibilities
- Mow, edge, and maintain lawns and landscaped areas
- Trim trees, shrubs, and hedges
- Remove weeds, debris, and trash from properties
- Assist with irrigation maintenance and minor repairs
- Perform seasonal yard clean-up and general property maintenance
- Load, unload, and transport tools, materials, and equipment
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Follow safety procedures and company standards
Required Qualifications
- Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to lift and carry 50+ pounds
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
- Experience operating landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and hand tools
- Ability to work independently and follow directions
- Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Preferred Qualifications (Construction Experience a Plus)
- General construction labor experience
- Experience using power tools and construction equipment
- Basic knowledge of concrete, framing, demolition, excavation, or site preparation
- Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic measurements
- Experience with property improvements, fencing, grading, or similar trades
