Minimum Education/Certification:
Bachelor’s degree in music therapy or related program
- Board Certified as a Music therapist
- Valid driver’s license
- Eligible for coverage under the District's vehicle insurance program
Special Knowledge/Skills:
- Knowledge of procedures, strategies and equipment used in music therapy.
- Knowledge of proper assessment protocols for music therapy evaluation
- Knowledge of how to provide and document services for students in alignment with students' IEP.
- Knowledge of specific strategies and interventions for working with students with autism and other developmental disabilities.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
