Responsibilities
Assist with measuring, cutting, and assembling materials using hand tools and power tools, ensuring precision and safety at all times
Support framing activities, including metal stud framing and wood framing for walls, floors, and ceilings
Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute project requirements
Participate in installation of fixtures such as cabinets, doors, siding, trim carpentry, and flooring
Help with concrete forming, rebar installation, masonry work, and roofing tasks to support various phases of construction projects
Perform demolition, cleanup, and site preparation activities to maintain a safe and organized work environment
Follow safety protocols related to power tool operation, scaffolding use, heavy lifting, and general construction site safety standards
Skills
Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools including drills, saws, hammers, and caulking guns
Familiarity with reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for accurate project execution
Experience or interest in construction estimating, remodeling, or restoration industry practices
Understanding of construction safety procedures such as power tool safety and proper lifting techniques
Ability to interpret technical drawings related to plumbing, electrical systems, drywall installation (including plastering), tile laying, and fixture installation
Hands-on experience with framing (wood or metal), siding installation, water damage restoration or mold remediation is a plus
Strong work ethic with the ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail
