Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Project Manager to lead and oversee complex projects from inception to completion. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage project schedules and ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in steel industry, excellent communication skills, and proficiency with AutoCad and reading prints software tools.
Duties
Quote potential fabrication work for Samson Fabrication within Samson’s expertise and fabrication abilities. Establish and maintain a business relationship with cliental and vendors in a professional and respectful manner. This person will be applying knowledge of sales, multi-tasking, welding, fabrication, assembly, materials and equipment, per job requirements. The person will also analyze bids, purchase orders, and drawings and any other information pertaining to the job to determine what materials, labor, & operations are required per job or quote. Organize and release an efficient and an accurate overall production plan and job folder to the shop that can be easily understood and implemented. Also, it is the Project Manager’s responsibility to communicate and oversee any special quality requirements, specifications, processes or timelines to the Quality Team members while the job is in process/production. To maintain and keep up to date all drawings and paperwork in regards to jobs in production and removal of any ineffective or old revisions. In charge of maintaining the office job folder and all paperwork such as Quotes, Drawings, Bills of Materials, Cut Lists, Purchase Orders, Preparation and Paint Requirements, Quality Requirements, Test reports, Shipping Requirements and any other pertinent information. Assist in the inspection and quality control of all fabricated material to assure compliance with the Sales Order. These actions will be performed in cooperation and at the request of the Quality Manager or Team. Recommend measures to improve overall quality. Suggest changes in shop routings to improve the quality of the product being produced. Other duties may be assigned to help maintain building and equipment maintenance, quality maintenance, and company business.
Records
An office file will be kept on each sales order that is processed through the shop in hard copy and electronically. All pertinent data related to the job will be kept in this job file for three years minimum. The file will contain the following: Quotes, Bills of Materials, Cut Lists, Purchase Orders, Paint Information, Shipping Information ,Test reports, Customer specifications, Drawings, Inspection reports, and such job information as seems important at the time.

Experience
Associate’s degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or two to four years related field or work experience and/or training.
Pay: $35,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
