Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor to lead our facilities maintenance team in ensuring the optimal operation of mechanical, electrical and HVAC systems across our manufacturing environment. This role is vital in maintaining a safe, efficient, and compliant workplace by overseeing daily maintenance activities, managing maintenance repair procedures, and implementing proactive strategies for equipment reliability. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, technical expertise in industrial maintenance, and a passion for safety and continuous improvement to drive operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the facilities maintenance team, ensuring timely completion of maintenance tasks and repairs.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to maximize equipment uptime.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems, electrical systems—including high voltage and low voltage components—and HVAC systems using schematics, ohmmeters, and engineering troubleshooting techniques.
- Manage facilities maintenance projects from planning through execution, ensuring adherence to safety regulations such as OSHA standards.
- Oversee the inspection, repair, and replacement of plumbing systems, mechanical systems, electrical wiring, and HVAC units to ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, work orders, safety inspections, and equipment records using Microsoft Office tools.
- Lead safety initiatives by enforcing OSHA regulations, conducting safety training sessions, and promoting a culture of safety awareness within the team.
Skills
- Proven management experience supervising facilities or industrial maintenance teams with strong leadership skills.
- Extensive mechanical knowledge including troubleshooting HVAC systems repair, plumbing system maintenance, electrical system diagnostics (high voltage/low voltage), and mechanical systems repair.
- Proficiency with schematics reading, engineering troubleshooting tools such as ohmmeters, and CMMS software for work order management.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations including OSHA standards related to industrial maintenance environments.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to plan, prioritize, and execute multiple tasks efficiently.
- Experience managing facilities maintenance in manufacturing or industrial settings with a focus on safety compliance.
- Effective communication skills in English for clear reporting and team coordination.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications for documentation and reporting purposes.
- Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for troubleshooting automation systems is a plus.
