Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team and handle a variety of work orders and property maintenance tasks for our condominium community. The ideal candidate will have experience in general property maintenance, be detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on buildings and common areas
- Power washing of building exteriors and common areas
- Minor painting, drywall, masonry, and stucco repairs
- Minor plumbing repairs (e.g., leaks, clogs, fixture replacements, etc.)
- Minor electrical (e.g. lighting fixtures, outlets, etc)
- Irrigation system maintenance, including replacement of broken sprinkler heads
- Tree trimming (up to 8 feet)
- Minor landscaping to include raking, mulch, cleaning out beds, and shrubs
- Janitorial services in common areas
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in property maintenance or a similar role
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, painting, landscaping, and general repairs
- Experience with irrigation systems and minor landscaping tasks
- Ability to safely operate power tools and landscaping equipment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
Administrative & Communication
- Proficient with computers and emails
- Document completed work orders and maintenance activities
- Communicate maintenance issues and material needs to management
- Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and notify when restocking is needed
- Provide professional and courteous interaction with residents and staff
- Role requires regular written and verbal communication with residents, boards, and vendors in English
Safety & Compliance
- Follow all safety procedures and use required protective equipment
- Ensure work complies with applicable codes and standards
- Secure work areas and maintain safe conditions for residents and staff
Work Environment:
- Outdoor and indoor work required
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks
- Maintenance Technicians may wear comfortable, job-appropriate attire. Clothing must be safe for maintenance work, allow ease of movement, and comply with any required safety standards, including closed-toe shoes or boots. Safety gear must be worn when applicable.
Pay
$21-$25/hour
Work Hours
- 30 hours per week
- Flexible work hours may begin anytime between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM, with the workday ending no later than 5:00 PM.
Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
