Hourly Pay Rate (W2): $85.00
Weekly Pay Rate (W2): $3,400.00
For Traveler W2:
Blended Hourly Pay Rate (W2): $87.00
Weekly Pay Rate (W2): $3,480.00
Minimum Hourly W2 Pay Rate: $41.00
Minimum Hourly Stipend: $46.00
Min. W2 Weekly Gross (Taxable): $1,640.00
Weekly Stipend (Non-Taxable): $1,840.00
For Local & Traveler 1099:
Hourly Pay Rate (1099): $90.00

Job Summary:
Reviews all medication orders from physicians and physician extenders, dispensing medications after confirming appropriate drug, dose, frequency, and route. Reviews patient allergies, medical history, drug interactions, and lab data for clinical conflicts prior to dispensing. Responsible for inventory control and provides drug information support to the healthcare team. Oversees pharmacy students and technicians to ensure accuracy and safety in medication preparation. Collaborates with the care team on continuum of care and discharge planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and verify medication orders for accuracy and safety.
- Dispense medications after confirming the correct drug, dose, and route.
- Evaluate allergies, drug interactions, medical history, and lab results.
- Provide drug information and support to the healthcare team.
- Oversee pharmacy technicians and students.
- Assist with inventory management and discharge planning.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree from an ACPE-accredited College of Pharmacy (required); PharmD (preferred)
- Experience: 1 year in a hospital setting or Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience (APPE) in a clinical setting (preferred)
- Licenses: PA Pharmacist License (required); BLS (preferred)
