In this dynamic position, you'll provide expertise to a diverse caseload of students spanning all grade levels—Kindergarten through 12th grade. You’ll enjoy the chance to collaborate closely with a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA), and those completing their Clinical Fellowship Year are encouraged to apply. Qualifications & Experience Desired:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellow ready to pursue CCC
- Arkansas SLP licensure (or eligibility)
- Experience with pediatric populations in school or healthcare settings
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms, or willingness to learn
- Open to supervising and collaborating with SLPAs
- Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and implement treatment plans for students with communication disorders
- Work with all grade levels, from early childhood through high school
- Maintain accurate records and progress notes in compliance with school and state requirements
- Collaborate with educators, families, and additional support staff to promote student success
- Provide guidance and oversight to an assigned SLPA
- Utilize both in-person and virtual service delivery models, as needed
- Flexible start time between 7:30am and 8:00am, with the school day ending between 3:30pm and 4:00pm
