Our client is seeking two Help Desk Support Technicians to join their team on a contract basis through November. These positions are available to provide day-to-day IT support while the client's existing Help Desk team focuses on a large office move and related technology initiatives.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with at least one year of Help Desk experience looking to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced IT environment.
Location: Onsite
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Duration: Contract through November
Pay Rate: $20/hour (W-2)
Responsibilities:
- Respond to and resolve end-user IT support requests through the ticketing system.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, printer, and peripheral issues.
- Provide support for Windows workstations, Microsoft Office applications, and basic network connectivity issues.
- Escalate complex technical issues to the appropriate support teams when necessary.
- Deliver excellent customer service while ensuring timely resolution of support tickets.
- Document troubleshooting steps and resolutions within the ticketing system
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of Help Desk, Desktop Support, or Technical Support experience.
- Experience working with ticketing systems.
- Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office, and PC hardware.
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple support requests in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable with a strong customer service mindset.
Pay: $20.00 per hour
