The Chief of HCBS Services provides leadership and oversight for all Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) at New Hope. This includes:
- Hourly and Day Residential Services (Supported Community Living and Habilitation)
This executive-level role is responsible for ensuring excellence in service delivery, regulatory compliance, and ongoing program development, while driving a positive culture and high standards of quality across all community services.
- Provide strategic and operational oversight of all HCBS service lines
- Ensure compliance with Iowa HCBS regulations and standards
- Lead, mentor, and support program managers and teams
- Promote person-centered services and positive outcomes for individuals served
- Drive quality improvement initiatives and operational excellence
- Partner with executive leadership on organizational strategy and growth
- Foster a collaborative, accountable, and supportive team culture
- Demonstrated leadership experience in human services or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in the Iowa HCBS system required
- Strong understanding of HCBS regulations, service delivery, and best practices
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage operations, and drive quality outcomes
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
