Canvass Manager – Roofing & Home Improvement
Lead, train, and grow a door-to-door canvassing team for a highly rated local roofing, siding, and window company.
About the Role ARS Building Services is looking for an experienced, field-driven Canvass Manager to lead and expand our marketing team. We specialize in roofing, siding, windows, gutters, and storm restoration across Maryland’s Eastern Shore and surrounding areas.
We need a proven leader who knows how to build energy in the field, generate quality inspections, and develop canvassers into consistent producers. This is not an entry-level role. We are looking for someone who has been in the trenches, understands door-to-door marketing, and knows exactly how to motivate a team to hit targets.
What You’ll Do
- Lead & Train: Recruit, train, and manage a team of high-performing canvassers.
- Run the Field: Set territories, organize route logistics, and lead daily huddles.
- Coach: Train team members on scripts, objection handling, and homeowner conversations.
- Track Performance: Monitor appointments, issued leads, and production metrics.
- Ensure Quality: Work closely with sales reps and management to ensure smooth handoffs.
- Lead by Example: Knock doors alongside your team when necessary to build confidence and show them how it’s done.
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of door-to-door canvassing or field marketing experience (Required).
- 1+ years of experience directly managing and motivating a field team (Highly Preferred).
- Confidence speaking with homeowners and holding team members accountable.
- A goal-driven mindset and a desire to grow with a company long-term.
- Bonus: Familiarity with roofing, storm restoration, or home improvement.

Compensation & Perks
- Expected Earnings (OTE): $70,000 – $120,000+ (depending on experience and team performance)
- Pay Structure: Base Pay + Bonuses + Team Overrides
- Growth: Uncapped performance incentives and real room for upward mobility as the department expands.
