Job Summary:
Verify contents of received material against bills of lading, invoices, or packing slips.
Essential Job Duties:
1. Receive purchased and manufactured part and customer supplied material.
2. Ensure materials and parts are processed in a timely manner.
3. Maintain paperwork/traceability of all incoming material to include Packing Lists, Certs, 8130’s, Conformity data and any other pertinent information.
4. Ensure log sheets are properly completed and maintained.
5. Loads/Unloads trucks and delivery vehicles as needed.
6. Maintain neat and orderly Receiving area.
Secondary Duties:
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Job Qualifications:
Minimum:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Read, write, speak and understand the English language.
- Has a thorough knowledge of common receiving practices and warehouse operations, i.e., forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.
- Must have working knowledge of receipt, verification and stocking of parts.
- Must have the ability to lead people and accept responsibility.
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English Language.
Physical Requirements:
- May be required to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Subject to continual loud noises.
- Normal or corrected hearing and vision are required.
- Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, stand for prolonged periods of time; climb steps, ladders.
- Must be able to safely work around hazardous chemicals, solvents, resins and adhesives.
