CASE Support Services, LLC is a dynamic private practice located in South Metro Atlanta, offering a comprehensive, holistic approach to mental health and wellness. We serve children, adolescents, young adults, and adults through counseling and integrative wellness practices tailored to address a wide range of emotional and behavioral challenges.
Position Overview
We are currently seeking a compassionate and motivated School-Based Mental Health Therapist to join our team. This on-site position is embedded within the Griffin-Spalding County School System and includes providing individual and group counseling, collaborating with school staff and families, and supporting school-wide mental health initiatives. Therapists are expected to manage a caseload of 25–30 clients per week and deliver consistent, quality care to students.
Availability to service clients during Griffin/Spalding school breaks is required.

Key Responsibilities
Clinical Services
- Provide individual counseling to students with identified emotional and behavioral needs
- Facilitate group sessions focusing on topics such as anxiety, trauma, ADHD, grief, depression, and behavior regulation
- Conduct diagnostic assessments and develop personalized treatment plans
- Deliver crisis intervention and safety assessments as needed
- Maintain a caseload of 25–30 students per week
Collaboration & Consultation
- Partner with teachers, school counselors, and administrators to support students’ academic and emotional success
- Communicate and consult with families to extend support strategies into the home environment
- Attend school-based meetings (e.g., IEP/504 Plan meetings) to provide therapeutic insights and recommendations
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain up-to-date, confidential clinical documentation and progress notes
- Ensure compliance with district, state, and organizational protocols related to school-based therapy
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field
- Georgia licensure or license-eligible (LAPC, LPC, LAMFT, LMFT, LMSW, LCSW)
- Experience with common childhood and adolescent challenges (e.g., trauma, anxiety, behavior issues, ADHD)
- Familiarity with DSM-V diagnostic criteria
- Completion of (or willingness to complete) a 6-hour Telehealth training
- Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills
- Reliable transportation and access to a secure internet connection and electronic devices

Compensation
- $35.00 – $55.00 per billable hour
