Seeking an experienced AUTOMOTIVE CAR Estimator to join our automotive team.
We are looking to fill 2 positions.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED -- this is NOT a learning position.
Must know how to work with Mitchell1
Must know how to order / return parts
Must have experience in the automotive estimator industry.

Duties include:
- Vehicle inspections for visible damage and possible internal damage
- Engaging with clients and informing them of what's possibly wrong with their vehicles (what you can see and what might be wrong internally)
- Upselling repairs (oil changes do not make money and keep the shop open)
- Parts ordering and inspection along with possible parts returns (making sure we don't get the wrong part or returning items if it does turn out to be the wrong)
- Using Mitchell1 system for repairs and orders
- Payment handling
- Communicating with automotive crew to ensure proper work is done
- Communicating with management crew to ensure the shop runs properly
- Communicating with customers so they do not feel lost or clueless in the repair process
- Communicating with insurance companies to make sure repairs are properly documented and parts ordering are fully paid out

Pay rate starts at $21/hr, up to $28/hr depending on experience and skillset.
Location is in Albany, CA
Work hours are: M-F / 8:30-5:30PM -- 2 Saturdays a month (on and off)
Benefits earned (health / 401k) after initial trial period of employment (90 days).
