We are seeking a knowledgeable and dedicated educational expert to observe and guide our teacher candidates during their one semester field experience. The right applicant will have at least an MA degree in education with a minimum of ten years of teaching experience in a public, private, or charter school. They will be expected to meet in person or vitually with the teacher candidates and his/her cooperating teacher, eplain program and evaluation guidelines, observe their teaching 7-10 times, and provide extensive actionable feedback to improve their skills and work with diverse k-12 students. We are Washington State PESB approved teacher education program. Supervisors meet with program directors monthly. We pay $100 per meeting/oberservation to a maximum of $1000/per candidate. Applicants can expect 3-5 assigned candidates per semester. A working knowledge of Washington State schools, CCDEI policies, and SEL strategies is a must. The ideal candidate is a retired teacher from the State of Washington.
