Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Healthcare Marketing Representative to support our Emergency Department in Brazoria County. This is a 3–6 month contract role, with the possibility of extension based on performance and organizational needs.
This position plays a key role in building strong community relationships, increasing awareness of our emergency services, and strengthening referral pathways across Brazoria County and surrounding communities.
Position Overview
The Healthcare Marketing Representative will be responsible for actively engaging with local businesses, clinics, urgent care centers, and healthcare facilities to promote awareness of our Emergency Department services. This role requires a proactive, people-oriented professional who thrives in community settings and can effectively represent our organization in the field.
You will also work closely with our internal social media and digital marketing team to ensure alignment between on-the-ground outreach and online messaging.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct daily in-person outreach to local businesses, clinics, physician offices, and healthcare facilities throughout Brazoria County and surrounding areas
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with healthcare providers, office managers, and community stakeholders
- Educate partners and the community on available emergency services, capabilities, and patient access points
- Represent the organization at community events, networking meetings, and local engagements
- Gather market intelligence, feedback, and referral insights from the field
- Collaborate closely with the social media marketing team to align messaging and outreach strategies
- Assist in developing and executing grassroots marketing initiatives and community engagement campaigns
- Track outreach activity, contacts, and engagement outcomes through reporting tools
- Support brand visibility and trust-building efforts within the local healthcare ecosystem
Qualifications
- Experience in marketing, community outreach, healthcare relations, sales, or public relations preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly
- Comfortable working independently in a field-based, community-facing role
- Highly organized with the ability to document and report outreach activity
- Professional demeanor when engaging with healthcare professionals and business owners
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
- Familiarity with Brazoria County and surrounding communities is a plus
Preferred Skills
- Experience in healthcare marketing or hospital outreach
- Understanding of emergency services or patient referral pathways
- Basic knowledge of social media marketing coordination
- Ability to represent a healthcare brand in a professional and ethical manner
