We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Music Teacher to join our educational team at Bennett Day School. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in music education and a love for teaching students of all ages. This role involves developing engaging music curricula, fostering a positive learning environment, and inspiring students to explore their musical talents. The Music Teacher will work with children ages 3-18, providing weekly individual lessons tailored to their needs and interests.
Responsibilities
- Teach piano lessons during after school hours throughout the week
- Develop and implement comprehensive music curricula that cater to various skill levels
- Conduct engaging music lessons for students of all ages
- Provide individualized tutoring and support to students as needed
- Help to prepare students for performances and showcases
- Collaborate with other educators
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and assessments
- Foster an appreciation for music through creative teaching methods
Requirements
- Proven experience in teaching music, with a strong understanding of curriculum development
- Familiarity with various musical instruments and teaching methods
