Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and friendly Front Desk Staff member to be the welcoming face for Dogtopia. In this vital role, you will manage front office operations, serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, and ensure smooth flow of pups coming in and out the door. You will be interacting directly with all of the staff and all of the dogs. You will have many roles, which include supporting our canine coaches, providing them with tools and supplies, overseeing playrooms via camera, helping prep meals for the pups (if needed) and keeping the lobby clean from any accidents or day to day use (lots of dog hair). Your energetic approach and organizational skills will help create a positive environment for pet parents, staff, and pups. You will also be responsible for creating sales for the pups and their parents, services, wellness plans and treats. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase customer service skills in a fast-paced setting. Duties
- Know everything about Dogtopia and why we are the leader in safety and wellness.
- Greet visitors warmly and direct them appropriately, ensuring a professional and friendly first impression
- Operate multi-line phone systems efficiently, answering inquiries and routing calls with excellent phone etiquette
- Manage appointment scheduling, calendar updates, and coordinate meetings using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools
- Handle incoming correspondence, data entry, filing, and document proofreading to maintain organized records.
- Support office management tasks, maintain supplies, and overseeing general daycare functions
- Assist with customer support by addressing inquiries promptly and professionally, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
- Perform duties including data entry tasks, and supporting our rover and canine coach responsibilities as needed
Qualifications
- Must be an ADULT (age 18 or above)
- Be able to run, move quickly and respond quickly mentally and physically.
- Proven experience in front desk operations or office management roles with strong organizational skills
- Excellent computer literacy
- Strong communication skills with the ability to handle multi-line phone systems and demonstrate exceptional phone etiquette
- Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
- Polite, dependable and a vibrant personality
- Be social and positive with communications
- Team work focused to help all staff when needed (rover pups to and from the playroom, change mop buckets, laundry, cleaning the front lobby).
- Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize responsibilities in a busy environment to ensure everything is completed during your shift.

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
