Timberline Barns is a growing storage shed manufacturing company. We’re looking for a motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Lot Manager to oversee one of our outdoor sales lots. If you enjoy sales, working independently, and engaging with your community, this is the job for you!
Pay and Benefits
- Hourly wage paid bi-weekly, plus monthly commissions paid monthly
- Health, dental, and vision insurance after 90 days
- 3 paid holidays per year
Responsibilities
Sales & Customer Service
- Engage customers, explain products, and close sales
- Achieve revenue targets and drive customer satisfaction
- Respond to inquiries, resolve concerns, and build long-term relationships
Lot Operations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable sales lot (includes mowing and basic upkeep)
- Coordinate deliveries and process sales orders
Marketing & Outreach
- Post weekly updates and engage with customers via Facebook/Facebook Marketplace
- Support local marketing campaigns and community events
- Monitor competitors and provide feedback on trends and opportunities
Requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer service and sales skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer tools
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience with inventory or CRM systems is a plus
- 1+ year of sales experience preferred
- Knowledge of storage buildings or similar products is a bonus
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or GED (Preferred)
- Sales: 1 year (Preferred)
- Microsoft Office: 1 year (Preferred)
Location Requirements
- Must be able to commute to Maryville, TN
- This is an in-person position
