Position: Cook (Main kitchen)
Pay & Shift: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday & Every Other Weekend 7:30am-5:30pm
- Pay is based on years of experience: $20 - $22
- 10-hour shifts every weekend

Essential Responsibilities
- Prepare meals in accordance with daily planned menus
- Prepare food in accordance with standardized recipes and special diet orders, as required and when directed
- Prepare modified foods for residents on a mechanical soft diet as directed and necessary for the residents
- Prepare food in accordance with established sanitary policies and procedures
- Make sure that appropriate equipment and utensils are provided with each meal to the residents
- Assist in serving meals as necessary and in a timely manner
- Assist in food preparation for special occasion meals, parties, etc.
- Assist with putting stock away
- Assist in maintaining food storage areas
Qualifications
- Preferrable 1 year experience in Senior Living
- Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
- Passion for serving seniors with dignity, compassion, and respect
- Genuine desire to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others
- Serv Safe Certified preferred
