What You'll Do
As a Substitute Teacher, you'll:
- Maintain a positive, safe, and engaging learning environment.
- Follow lesson plans provided by the classroom teacher.
- Manage classroom behavior in a professional and respectful manner.
- Communicate effectively with school staff and administrators.
- Adapt to different grade levels and classroom settings.
Qualifications
Applicants must:
- Hold a valid Kansas Teaching License, Kansas Standard Substitute Teaching License, or Kansas Emergency Substitute License.
- Have a negative TB test dated within the past 12 months.
- Successfully complete a criminal background check.
- Enjoy working with students in PreK–12 classrooms.
- Be dependable, organized, flexible, and professional.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and school staff.
