Position Overview
We are seeking a Cabinet Designer/Drafter with experience in residential and commercial cabinetry. This role works closely with customers, sales, and production teams to turn ideas into accurate, buildable designs using industry software.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys both creative design work and detailed technical drafting.
What You’ll Do
Design & Drafting
- Create detailed cabinet layouts and drawings using 2020 Design and/or Cabinet Vision
- Interpret architectural plans and translate them into production-ready designs
- Review specifications, materials, and dimensions for accuracy
Project & Order Coordination
- Prepare quotes, process orders, and maintain accurate job records
- Generate shop drawings, production paperwork, and billing details
- Coordinate with production to ensure designs meet build requirements and timelines
Customer & Team Collaboration
- Communicate with customers to clarify needs and resolve design or order questions
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure projects stay on track
- Provide solutions when challenges arise during design or production
What We’re Looking For
- Associate degree in design or related field OR 2+ years of cabinet design experience
- Proficiency in 2020 Design, Cabinet Vision, or similar software
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and standard office tools
Work Schedule
- Monday to Friday
- 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
