Overview
We are seeking experienced and polished Lead Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond effectively to emergencies, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Serve as Lead Officer for selected site.
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies while following established protocols.
- Conduct regular inspections of premises.
- Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor in all interactions.
- Assist in conflict management situations by employing de-escalation techniques as necessary.
- Document incidents, observations, and activities in detailed reports for management review.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to ensure compliance with legal standards.
Requirements
- Strong customer service skills.
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Must be able to pass background checks as required by company policies.
- Must have a vailid drivers license.
- Must be able to obtain and hold an Ohio Security Guard license.
