About the Role
We are looking for an Electrical Designer / Drafter to join our team and support the design of power generation, power conversion, and industrial electrical systems.
This is an excellent opportunity for an electrical design professional with experience creating electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, cable schedules, and related documentation.
Our projects include:
- Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)
- Hydrogen Fuel Cells
- Natural Gas Engines
- Electrification of Oil & Gas Service Units
- Power Generation & Conversion Systems
What You'll Do
- Create and revise electrical drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, cable schedules, and panel layouts.
- Develop single-line diagrams, control schematics, and termination drawings.
- Work from engineering markups and design inputs.
- Review drawings for accuracy and maintain revisions throughout the project lifecycle.
- Work with electrical engineers, mechanical designers, and project managers.
- Support field teams with installation drawings and technical drawing questions.
- Apply applicable electrical drafting standards and best practices.
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of electrical drafting or electrical design experience
- Experience with AutoCAD Electrical or similar CAD software
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, panel layouts, and P&IDs
- Familiarity with NEC, IEC, and/or IEEE standards
- Experience with electrical control systems and complex wiring documentation
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Associate degree, technical diploma, or equivalent experience preferred
Preferred / Plus
- Siemens Capital X experience — strong plus
- Experience with power generation, power conversion, BESS, oil & gas, or industrial systems

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
