What You’ll Do:
As a Batcher, you will:

Collect, weigh, and batch raw materials according to precise batch tickets

Operate mixing and blending equipment to ensure product consistency

Set mixer parameters and monitor batch cycles for safety and efficiency
-
Label, organize, and store batch materials to maintain workflow and traceability
-
Inspect ingredients and finished batches to meet quality standards
-
Perform routine quality checks and report any inconsistencies
-
Maintain a clean and sanitized work area in compliance with GMP standards
-
Suggest process improvements to increase batch accuracy and efficiency

What We’re Looking For:
Skills & Abilities:
-
Strong understanding of weights, measures, and batching techniques
-
Mechanical aptitude and comfort with operating mixer or batching equipment
-
Ability to read and interpret batch tickets and follow production processes
-
Basic computer skills; Microsoft Office and ERP systems familiarity a plus
-
Team player with excellent communication skills
-
Attention to detail and a commitment to quality
Education & Experience:
-
High school diploma or GED required
-
1+ years of experience in batching, food prep, or production mixing roles preferred
-
Familiarity with GMPs, OSHA regulations, and food/pharma production environments a plus
-
Experience with batching software or ERP systems is a bonus
Physical Requirements:
-
Lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly
-
Stand and walk for extended periods (8–12 hours per day)
-
Repetitive grasping, bending, and reaching movements required
-
Must be able to safely operate mixers, forklifts, and other production equipment
-
Required PPE includes respirators, safety glasses, and slip-resistant footwear
