Route Service Merchandiser OTR (Class D Route Driver) (Non CDL)
Savory Concepts vending and foodservice in Bristol CT is a leading provider of food and beverage to Business and Industry in Connecticut and Western Massachusetts.
We have an opening for a Route Service Merchandiser position. The position plays a crucial role in our company.
The Route Service Merchandiser position requires the individual to travel to specific customers of ours each day and properly merchandise, clean, and inventory our vending equipment and micro-markets located in employee cafeterias.
Merchandiser - Responsibilities, and Duties
- Operate company vehicle.
- Utilize the company's computer tablets to properly record inventory information to ensure the correct product is ordered for specific machines and markets.
- Follow specific schedules daily for serving our locations.
- Collect, secures, and transports funds removed from machines or markets to the company office.
- Monitor shelf life and sales of products to minimize spoilage.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the machines and micro-markets per company standards.
- Maintain a friendly attitude with your interaction with our customers.
- Minimum Job Requirements
- Highschool diploma or GED.
- At least 6 months experience in some field related to the responsibilities and duties specified.
- This delivery driver position is a Monday thru Friday position starting at 3:30 a.m. The shift is 9-10 hours each day.
Pre-Employment Requirements
- A drug test is required
- A background check is required.
