Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Packaging Technician with mechanical skills in regulated industries to join our manufacturing team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of packaging lines and the and accurate packaging of products in compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Operate packaging lines on a daily basis.
- Perform routine mechanical maintenance and repairs.
- Execute mechanical minor repairs .
- Verify the machine performance.
- Assist the Shift Mechanics during the repairs.
- Handling of materials.
- Change overs.
- Perform machine cleaning.
- Machine Adjustments.
- Quality checks to ensure products meet specifications.
- Perform routine safety checks to ensure equipment is safe for operation.
- Ensure process quality and compliance with Quality System standards.
- Comply with and support site Environmental, Health and Safety policies and procedures.
- Achieve performance targets for packaging lines.
- Participate in RCA for deviations, problems, and equipment breakdowns.
- Perform and assist with preventive and autonomous maintenance.
- Perform and assist with production line changeovers.
- Perform 5S and cleaning activities to maintain GMP standards.
- Execute SAP functions including batch reconciliation, cycle counts, material movements, confirmations, and inventory control.
Qualifications
- Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Experience: 1–5 years of experience in a production environment and mechanical background in regulated industries or aerospace a must.
- Experience in industrial documentation.
- Preferred Education: Technical degree or certification preferred
- Preferred Skills: SAP experience preferred
