Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Maintenance Technician II to support the maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of automated manufacturing equipment. This position is ideal for a skilled maintenance technician with strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain automated production equipment to minimize downtime.
- Perform preventive maintenance (PM) and update maintenance schedules as needed.
- Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, servo, sensor, and motor systems.
- Ensure equipment complies with all safety regulations, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), machine guarding, and emergency stop systems.
- Maintain spare parts inventory and support CMMS documentation.
- Assist with equipment improvements to increase efficiency, quality, and reliability.
- Support Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Train production personnel on proper equipment operation and basic maintenance.
- Update SOPs and maintenance documentation when equipment changes occur.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED (Technical certification is a plus).
- 3–5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong experience troubleshooting automated production equipment.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Mechanical systems
- Electrical systems
- PLC-controlled equipment (basic troubleshooting)
- Sensors, motors, servos, and pneumatics
- Preventive Maintenance (PM)
- Proficient with hand and power tools.
- Experience using CMMS or maintenance management software.
- Basic computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in manufacturing, warehouse, cleanroom, laboratory, and mechanical spaces.
Pay: $26.00 - $29.00 per hour
