Description :
Purpose of Position:
The purpose of this position is to assist in all areas of tax-related matters; track and reconcile Pierce County Property and special tax accounts; compile, prepare, reconcile financial transactions.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School diploma; working knowledge of general accounting principles and their applications, minimum two years office experience in bookkeeping; or any combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills and abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Technical/Vocational degree in Accounting; experience and familiarity with land descriptions preferred, general knowledge of property assessment and taxation process, including mill rates preferred, general billing procedures.
This position is a FT 35 hours per week Monday -Friday.
Pay: $21.66 - $24.76 per hour
